Mushroom School 2009: 3rd - 6th September 2009

We have now had two successful Mushroom Schools at Kirkwood and 2009 is sure to be just as popular.   Enthusiasts of all levels of experience and ages are welcome to join this most interesting and enjoyable event.  Kirkwood’s 500 acres of pastures and woodland are the perfect breeding ground for a wide variety of fungi and our forays and talks are led by two of the country’s leading experts.

Guides:
Graeme Walker is a professional mycologist who works for Scottish Natural Heritage.

Mark Gorman is a local fungi enthusiast, as is Anthony Steel, who owns and manages Kirkwood.
