Not many salmon in the spring but best to try Kirkwood.  Catch & release only.

A few in April but not many till late May.

The "Upper" river can produce big brownies, e.g. Jardine Hall.

Chub and grayling on the Annan at Kirkwood (if available) or other local fisheries.

Summer (June, July & Aug)

Less likely on the Annan unless there is a good flood or until August.

Best time on the Annan - Kirkwood and Jardine Hall in particular.

Try rainbow trout in Lady’s Lochan at Kirkwood or at local fisheries.

None on the Annan but other local fisheries are open.

Autumn (Sept, Oct, Nov)

Best time on the Annan - Kirkwood & Jardine Hall in particular.

Some are caught on the Annan but should be returned.

A few in September but after that CLOSED.
