Brown Trout Fishing on the River Annan

For trout fishermen, there are trout lochs locally and a small man-made lochan, with stocked rainbow trout, at Kirkwood.

Brown trout can be caught on the Annan and they can be specimen trout. In the spring they are in the lower reaches such as Kirkwood but by the autumn they have headed up into the smaller waters such as Jardine Hall.

Lady's Lochan is about half an acre and set in the middle of our woods - a very peaceful and pleasant spot.  Fly only allowed.  By arrangement £15 per visit.
